What JUWEL is

JUWEL is an AI work environment. You give it instructions in ordinary language; it answers, and — where you have connected a third-party account and approved the action — it acts. Consequential actions stop for your approval, and the server enforces that gate for the tools listed on the security page. Plans are described on the pricing page.

JUWEL is software, and it makes mistakes. It is not a lawyer, not a doctor, not an investment adviser, and not a substitute for your judgment. Review anything that matters before it goes anywhere.

Accepting these terms

You accept these terms by using JUWEL with an account. Because that acceptance has to be something we can show you rather than something we assert, the service records it: the version you accepted and the time you accepted it, and nothing else — no address, no IP address, no device fingerprint. You can read your own acceptance record at any time.

You can look around without agreeing to anything. A guest session is not gated. We ask for acceptance the first time you take an action that creates a durable record, reaches one of our providers, or leaves the browser: connecting a third-party account, writing durable memory, starting a voice session, exporting your data, or pairing a desktop or command-line host. Until you accept, those actions stop and tell you which version we are asking about.

When these terms change, the version identifier changes with them and we ask again. A previous acceptance is history; it is not consent to a new version.

Who may use JUWEL

  • You must be 18 or older. We do not knowingly create accounts for anyone younger, and we delete an account if we learn it belongs to someone under 18.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what a device token or command-line session does on your behalf.
  • These Terms incorporate the Acceptable Use Policy by reference. Violations may lead to suspension or termination.

What we collect, and why it is in the contract

The privacy notice is the detailed document and is part of this agreement. The short version, so it is in the contract you are actually accepting: JUWEL collects and stores what it needs to be JUWEL, and says what that is. Your account details, the content you type or paste or upload, the metadata of accounts you connect, memory that lets it continue a conversation next week, receipts of what it did, billing records, and telemetry that carries counts rather than content.

  • We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
  • We do not train a general model on the content of your instance.
  • JUWEL does not store the bodies of messages in a mailbox you connect. It reads what you ask it to read, in the moment, and does not keep the message text. If that ever changes, it changes with a consent gate you can see and a clause in the privacy notice — not quietly.

Your responsibilities

  • Use JUWEL lawfully. Do not use it to harm people or systems.
  • Do not upload content you have no right to give us.
  • Do not attempt to break, overload, or circumvent the approval gates, rate limits, or the receipts.
  • Do not present JUWEL's output as professional advice from a licensed person.

Regulated work — the honest boundary

JUWEL can help with administrative and analytical work that touches medical, legal, and financial subjects. It is not a medical device, not a law firm, and not a registered investment adviser or broker.

  • Medical: no diagnosis, treatment, or prescribing. A licensed clinician remains responsible for clinical decisions. Do not send protected health information: Vext Labs does not offer a Business Associate Agreement and is not a HIPAA business associate.
  • Legal: using JUWEL creates no attorney-client relationship with Vext Labs. Have a licensed attorney in the relevant jurisdiction review anything before you rely on it or file it.
  • Financial: decision support and education only, never personalised investment advice. Wallet balances are prepaid product credits — not bank deposits, not FDIC-insured, not an investment. Money movement requires your explicit approval.

We hold no security certification. No SOC 2 report, no HIPAA compliance or BAA, no FedRAMP authorisation, no ISO 27001. If a certification matters to your use, we do not have it today.

Approvals and receipts

Money, privacy, identity, and anything irreversible stop for your approval. The server enforces the gate for the tools listed on the security page; approval cards elsewhere in the interface are a user-interface affordance and are not by themselves evidence of a server-side gate. Receipts record what happened — they do not guarantee an outcome was correct, and they are not an audit opinion. An offline verifier is available for supported signed receipts.

Billing and cancellation

Paid plans renew until you cancel, at the prices on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's own terms; we never see or store your full card number. Wallet balances are prepaid product credits for compute and related product use. Cancel any time — access runs to the end of the period you have paid for. Subscriptions bought through an app store must be cancelled in that store. Your data and any supported receipts remain exportable after cancellation.

Your data: export, deletion, and what survives

You can export your data from Settings. In-app account deletion is coming. Until then, email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask us to delete it; the account deletion page has the details. Deletion removes your account record and identity indexes, wallet and wallet log, device and agent keys, connection records, uploaded documents, synced chat and memory state, continuity state, workflow state, encrypted channel turns, and current-month usage; it cancels your subscription and deletes your Stripe customer; and it purges the knowledge graph bound to your identity.

Some records deliberately survive, and the privacy notice explains each: your acceptance record for these terms (version and timestamp), an SMS opt-out record if you sent STOP, and a deletion audit row carrying a hashed handle.

Recall ignores episodic memory rows older than 90 days. Episodic memory is off until you turn it on, and only after a signed notice is accepted. No scheduled job deletes those rows. The privacy notice states the same rule for Face and main chat. The activity ledger is not yet covered by automated deletion. That is a defect we have measured and written down rather than hidden. Email [email protected] and we will remove ledger entries by hand.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account for violation of these terms or unlawful use. You may cancel at any time, and we will give you an opportunity to export before deletion where we reasonably can.

Warranties and liability

JUWEL is provided "as is", without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that output is accurate or that the service is uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vext Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
