An AI assistant answers when you ask. An AI agent pursues a goal across several steps and can use tools on its own. Most explainers draw the line in about this place.
Where JUWEL sits
JUWEL is built as an assistant you talk to. Connected actions are the exception: they wait for your yes.
Today the server gates a calendar event and a mail draft. The server refuses those calls until a person approves the exact call, and the approval works once.
What that does not mean
JUWEL does not complete jobs on its own. Other approval cards in the app are product design, not the set the server enforces.

It does not claim every action needs approval. Only the server-gated set does today.
